Holostakes.
Holostakes are plant stakes that slowly release water and fertilizer over thirty days.
This water-saving solution uses crystals that can hold 400 times their weight in water, which ensures that plants will not dry out, despite any adverse soil and weather conditions.
The crystals can also absorb rainfall, allowing the cycle to be repeated over the twelve-month life of the organic nitrogen fertiliser and the crystals’ three-year span.
Tests have indicated a plant growth increase of up to 40%. In addition, Holostakes pose no risk of nitrogen burns from the fertilizer or root rot, stunted growth and wilting from over and/or under-watering.
Holostakes are ideal for tomatoes; beans etc. and encourage the recycling of material such as milk cartons for use as plant guards and the stakes themselves as fence-droppers for watering cattle.
